Hello all. I stayed after the Portland show tonight in hopes to meet the band. I waited for an hour and saw Avey walk to the bus. I got a photo and all the other typical fan protocol. I didn't wanna bother him for too long because Panda and Geo at the encore said he was having ear problems. I asked him about the visual album and he said he was really excited about it, and they were shooting to release it by the end of the summer. You know he's only like 5'5"?
Then I creamed my pants and skipped home in exuberance.

This definitely conflicts with what Geo says. I'm assuming theres a lack of communication in the band. PSSST! I smell a breakup! mmmm heyyyy.
Time will tell which one is right. I put my money on Avey because, well, he just told me this face to face 6 hours ago. |

Trust Avey on this one, he probably is more on the up and up anyway. End of Summer sounds like a great time to release it, considering we have NO news on an MPP b-sides release yet. Man I really want to hear what they did with Grace in the studio... |

That's subjective. Maybe he was saying don't expect it in the next couple of weeks. Late summer /early fall that's still 4 - 5 months. Some might say that's not too bad, other might say THAT'S A LONG WAY AWAY!
Avey and Danny Perez mentioned a factual date.
They don't exclude each other.
And noel, you better watch it! Shlippi's got a lot of people on his side here. And I bet he 'knows people'! |

I don't think noel was trying to attack him. I've never really spoken to shlippi, he seems like a pretty chill guy, but I also think he has a really good, amusing, off beat sense of humor. So I never take him entirely serious... Not in any dierogetory manner in regards to him, I just think he likes to fuck with people. Which is cool, I tend to get a kick out of fucking with people's heads.
Let's all just love each other, drink Keystone light, wear Birkenstock sandals, and listen to Dave Matthews bro.
edit: I still wouldn't get my hopes up, though. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait, be it three months or three years. |

oh hey whatsup fluor! the show was great. Unfortunately since Avey's ear was fucked up there was no encore, but it was a beautiful set. It was such a refreshing surprise to hear them open with "Chocolate Girl". "What Would I Want, Sky" was my personal highlight. I told Avey I was excited for their new stuff and I said I noticed a lot of their newer recordings are much more mellow and he said they have had the tendency to do that with their newer stuff... sooo maybe we can expect more vibes like "Bleed" and "WWIW,S"

thats the direction i would love for them to go. i love chocolate girl as an opener... i think out here they opened withhhh. lion..i think? and we got an encore, but it was just panda and geo because aveys voice was fucked. |
